need advice

I have a Nuvo fusion nano 20gal. I have an empty compartment in the rear of my tank. what should I use it for? I was thinking something for filtration but what. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks for the help. I have a caddy with carbon in it, is it ok to add more? what is filter floss? I have a filter sock on one side and removed because it was nasty. I put some filter pad in that chamber. I've got room in the back looking for options.

It might be good for cheato or a small skimmer.

It's great to have space, but your tank looks great.

You might hold it in reserve so you have the capacity to address a issue down the road.

thank you. where I live the weather is turning cold so I spend more time inside looking at my tank and I'm looking for changes I can make. projects to do, things to keep me busy

I agree with saving it for a purpose as needed. You may need that for some po4 reduction at some point or possibly extra mechanical filtration. I think it's nice to have a spare chamber to use depending on your tanks needs at the time.

I have a mini skimmer. I want to get zoas again but have trouble with them growing or even living in my tank. I test and do water changes. everything else grows but those.

Start them in low light high blues, Low on whites with moderate water flow. Add lugols iodine to water.

Good to know. Have the same issue with zoas. All LPS fat and happy and sps growing like crazy. Zoas have been tricky
