I’m looking for somebody to make an acrylic extension/riser for my skimmer. Any recommendations?

I recommend you!

Not sure what you specifically want. Do you need to raise your skimmer to work efficiently? If so, the simplest way I can thing of is making a stand from egg crate, using zip ties to hold it together. The only thing you'll need is a wire cutter or hack saw and that's it. That's what I did for my biopellet reactor:

Now my skimmer is on an acrylic shelf, that does requires a method of cutting acrylic...table saw, radial arm saw, router, etc.

No it’s a 50” MTC external skimmer that I want to turn into a 74” external skimmer LOL. So I need a 24” extension with the proper flanges on each end. A bit beyond my acrylic fabrication skills. Unfortunately MTC is out of business.

I actually ran an MTC HSA 250...about ten years ago. Still have it somewhere. Love those beckett'ed skimmers...except for the noise. I didn't know they were out of business....I believe a NJ company. I'd suggest posting up a WTB and see what you get. You'll be surprised want some of use old timers have in out basements. If that doesn't work, I'd think this would be an easy build for an acrylic fabricator. Good luck.
