Please look at this youtube link below. I have a colony of Zoas and in the middle is this parasite of some sort :sad:. I thought maybe aptasia but it in no way looks like an ghost anemone. Please help me identify this thing?

I cant tell from this video. Can you get a closer shot from it. Since it retracts im guessing its not aipastia. My guess by the way it shrinks would be a majano anemone. Post closer pics to help us all identify.

its hard to tell what it is, I would try turning off the flow and mixing some kalk paste( calcium hydroxide and water) and placing it on the top of it. If it is aiptasia it should kill it. fyi you dont need alot maybe about the size of a pencil eraser

Lemon Juice also works . Get a syringe and shoot it in the mouth. Make sure the flow is off.

I agree, looks like a Manjano, Kalk paste works but you may need to do it a couple of times.

Manjano frag glue works good to eradicate. Majano's can be easily scraped off compared to aiptasia.
