Need an id on a nuisance algae

Need an id on this algae, I noticed it about a month and a half ago, it seemed like it was dying off until it had a massive bloom. Any help or recommendations on a cleanup

We would really need a better picture. I am leaning towards bryopsis. That then would be branching, fern like , as opposed to your usual long hairy algae. Bryopsis is really not consumed by your CUC and needs to be managed by withdrawing its growth stimulus. If rocks can be removed and treated separately -scrubbing, H2O2- it’s a big help. Last resort fluconazole.
