I noticed over the last few weeks a few small strands of what at first I thought was GHA and that the clean up crew would nail it. Now it seems to have an established mid rib and I fear it’s bryopsis. The tank is only a few months old however I bought Aqua cultured LR so I fear that’s how it came into the tank. I haven’t had any other outbreaks of any type. If this happens to be Bryopsis I’ve already ordered Flucoazole by ReefHD. Tank is a 29 Gallon thanks for your help

My eyes can't make out what the green stuff is in the pictures. Bryopsis is "feathery" and I didn't see feathery myself. There are some nice sponges growing, which is fantastic imo. Someone will help any minute with better eyes. :)

Thanks yeah this is TampaBay Saltwater LR it came with so much life! I’ve really loved starting this tank with it. With any live rock there are some negatives, but imo so worth it. I just want to make sure I am correctly treating them

That’s what I thought. The center rib of it is what really stands out to me as bryopsis but I just wanted to make sure I go about correctly treating it

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the article. I cycled the tank with this rock and knowing that bryopsis feeds off of Ammonia and Nitrite it was a perfect situation for it to grow as the tank cycled....
