Hey guys, so I have noticed these little white tube things all over my tank. I believe they are little feather dusters, but want to make sure they are harmless.

Second I have this spiky redish-browb growth in a few spots on my live rock. Have not seen it expand much, but would like to know what it is.

The red stuff is sponge of some sort. I have it all over my 16 gallon BioCube.

He brown ones are or were probably colonial hydroid tubes. If they are live you'll see little thorny he'd sticking out and the retract like feather dusters.
If it's live you don't want it.
The white line is a feather duster tube. A tube worm.
It's possible the red is a sponge. If it's hard like rock it's probably a red froamefern shell
Also probably dead. Be cool if it's not. There harmless and neat.

I believe the red spots are corraline I have some beautiful purple and red corraline going in my tank, although I believe the light purple on the that rock is painted by some jerk in the past.

The tubes seems to he dead, but I'll keep am eye on them. If they seems to be alive should I scrape them off, tried to do that earlier but the suckers were stubborn.

The picture below is my corraline growth, unimportant but beautiful.
