So I bought a few things from LiveAquaria (love these guys) and in the bag that housed by clam was this invert. It appears to be a snail. Does not appear to be a vermatid. Pyramid snails appear to be a the size of a rice grain, this is definitely bigger. The opaque appendage is firmly attached and sticky. There are two and the one showing is the one I tugged on. The other one appears to have been retracted. I am not a fan of putting things I don't know in my tank, but I also don't like killing things out of ignorance. What do you guys think it is?

I don't believe it is a spaghetti worm, I have a ton in my reef, but I definitely have not seen all the spaghetti worms out there. That piece appears to be rubble, but when you flip it over there is a slit where this animal is coming out of, which makes me believe it might be a snail of some kind. That rubble piece is around 3/4".

can you get a picture of the underside as well ?! that would be even more helpful!
