Hey guys

In the market to buy an led strip light to enhance my corals more (blue) -

I currently use T5's but want more pop...

pM if with any strip lighting you have and or used that gave great pop and coral. Don't care too much for growth as my T5's are plenty for that.

I'm only interested in thin and small strips, 48" ... show me what you got and have had success with!!!

I know your asking for a led strip, but you can probably achieve the same by replace a t5ho bulb with a true actinic bulb. We did that for a customers tank and it made a big difference. maybe consider that before getting the led strip. Also check out the led t5 bulbs. I forgot the brand, but they carry a true actinic bulb.

Finnex Ray 2, It wont break the bank and the actinic is brilliant blue. I bought 2 36" strips for my tank.
You can throw those T5's away once you buy these because it has bright white LEDS also. They do have a down side because you have to manually switch it from blue to white or both, in othere words your controller can only turn it on and off.

You can get better lighting than Finnex, it's all about the money but they are very well made and stylish looking.

Good Luck
Dennis

Euroquatics e5 bulb

Have a fluval marine only 36" though..I don't use any more..if change mind on size let me know

I like the t5 look over all LEds so I just want something to add to my T5's ... I'll definitely check out the led bulbs or try the true actinic bulbs instead...

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I had no idea I can get led "bulbs" lol

There's also true lumen strips!

Giesemann super actinic is holding me over for the mean time when I want that glow in the evenings
