Need an opinion on my clownfish agression

Hey guys so I've had my clownfish for about a month now and got them at the same time. Lately though (past week) the bigger one has been harassing the smaller one nonstop. Normally I wouldn't be worried, but they were surrendered at the store I work at together and upon taking them home I wasn't 100% sure which species they were.

Upon some investigation, I've discovered one is a Black Snowflake while the other is a Snow Onyx.... meaning one is 100% ocellaris (snowflake) while the other is a mix between ocellaris and percula (snow onyx). The smaller one is the snow onyx.

Since the smaller one is a hybrid, there's not much of a chance the black snowflake is going to stop his aggression is there? They are in a 30 gallon tank. There are two anemones in the tank, do you think the aggression stems from fighting over the anemones? or purely because they both aren't the exact same type of clown?

Nothing severe has happened yet, a few nip marks though. I will rehome them if I have to, I just wanted opinions before I did so. The smaller one (percula/ocellaris) does not fight back, just swims and swims and swims away over and over only to be chased.

Just wanted y'alls opinions before I go out and rehome one if not both of them!

Side note:
Today someone else surrendered two more clowns (thinking blood orange not 100% sure)
so I have those guys in my quarentine tank. Was gonna go find them a new home tomorrow- it was too late to do so tonight- but after contemplating this I was wondering if I should relocate the first set instead since the blood orange are already paired up.

But the first two are very pretty and unique. So i'm just conflicted!

If that means swapping them out, then.....

We all want a variety of pretty fishes, but what we sometimes want and what is reality could lead to reef anarchy under the sea.

It is still kinda early to tell, but I personally don't know clowns and behavior well enough to comment of time.

For the past three hours my two clownfish have been fighting almost non stop. The bigger chasing around the smaller. Every so often they normally nip here and there but today it has been constant and it has me worried I'll monitor them over the next 24 hours and see. The fish being happy are more important than their neat colorations of course

Sounds like you landed two females or a much less pair pair then you thought.

and for the record blood oranges are hybrids too.

How big are them right now? I had two of the same kind a while back that fought for about 2 weeks. They were about inch and half. Later on after the fighting was over, the mean one turn female and got big fast. The big one might be showing dominance as he might be turning female.

+1 on them looking like 2 females.
If there's no sign of submission at all then I would think one of them has to go and maybe try to pair with the smallest clown you can find to maximize the chance of it being a male.

I'm anti clown anymore since the ones I had in various tank(which I ended up giving all away) were nothing but jerks to almost all the tankmates and my hand. It was so annoying. Lol

update to everyone, i fell asleep to the black snowflake attacking and harassing the snow onyx, and woke up 8 hours later to it STILL happening. I went ahead and brought them both to my lfs and just moved the (possible blood orange? but i'm thinking now just regular ocellaris) ones surrendered at my store over into my 30 gal. They are already a pair so I don't have to worry about them.

The black snowflake was maybe about an inch bigger than the onyx. so the size difference was very minimal. but yes, I believe I either had two females or the snowflake was transitioning and my onyx did not want to submit to her. They're in seperate tanks at the lfs now, the snow onyx can finally relax
