Need battery backup ideas after Irma

You've kinda put the cart before the horse. From what you have said. Getting an inverter for the car is limited because no gas, generator also no gas. Deep cycle battery and an inverter would be good as long as the battery comes fully charged.
I think at the bare minimum getting a battery powered air pump will be your best chance to get up and running right away.
I already have two battery powered air pumps running. I was looking for something I could hook up to a battery. At this point it looks like we'll have power soon. I'll just keep putting ice bottles in the tank. I think the fish are going to make it.
 
Any suggestions for an inverter to run heaters? Hoping for something that uses standard batteries instead of a car battery. We have 50w and 100w. Would need 1 inverter for each tank.
