Need Custom Water Change Sequence programmed for APEX. WILLING TO PAY!

You didn't specify which controller. The Hydros has a built in AWC sequence but it also requires control of ATO also.

What pumps are you using to do the water change?
I use a neptune dos with the apex to change 1.5 gallons every night.

just standard ac pumps. Looking for sensors to trigger different sequences on the WC program.

You'll need to provide more detail on what you have and how you want it to run. For example:
  • Do you have low and high water sensors that you want to leverage to drain the water until the low sensor is triggered, then add water until the high sensor is triggered?
  • Or do you want to add and remove water at the same time?
  • If you have an ATO, do you want it disabled during the change?
  • Do you want to turn off your skimmer during the water change, or leave it running?
  • What about the return pump? Could it run dry if too much water is removed?
  • Do you want the water change on a scheduled basis, or on-demand?
  • If the water change is on a timed schedule, do you have a sensor in the new saltwater reservoir to know when it's empty?
Too many variables to offer assistance unless you provide more details.

could we schedule a phone call possibly? I can pay for your time.
Thanks

Sorry, I don't do paid engagements or phone calls. This is just a hobby for me. Once someone pays you then it becomes a job and also creates liability if something goes wrong.

If you just post details like I mentioned above, plenty of us Apex experts can provide guidance. If you insist on paying someone, I'll step back and let someone else take it on.

Instead of trying to calibrate two sets of pumps, optical sensors programming, just go with a Stenner dual head pump. It's easy. Water in = Water out. No brainer, no programming. Run it in a bucket for xx minutes.....thats what you will be changing.

This pump is heavy duty, definitely not hobby grade.

I run mines at 3 in the morning....Set it and forget it. If this works out for you, please send my reefpro coupon to my inbox, loyal customer :)
