Need duncan help ASAP!

My Duncan is like this right now. I moved my powerhead this morning, so I had to move him out of direct flow, to the corner.. A few hours later he is like this...
There is a white stringy thing from its mouth with brownish blobs in the string that kind of looks like sand. . Any help? ?

Not uncommon when you move Duncans. Give it a day or two to adjust or try different placement. Lps expel waste and zooxanthellae occasionally. As with the majority of changes in corals trouble shoot water chemistry to rule chemistry out.

It's trying to recuperate. If it has completely retract where you see skeleton do a quick freshwater (rodi) dip as it could be brown jelly disease. I lost all but one head of a hundred plus on a Duncan a few years ago. By the time I found out but I could have done a freshwater dip really quick and saved most of it I had only one had left. However in your situation I think it's just mad and trying to recuperate.

Oh good. Im kinda relieved now. I thought he was dying. I will still keep an eye on him to make sure he is ok... Didn't mean to upset the little fella. ..Lol.

Have you been spot feeding him? They love brine, mysis and stuff like rods food and LRS reef frenzy. As I said mine came back from near total annihilation buy brown jelly disease. Here he is 5 months later with about 30 heads
