Need experienced opinions for swc 120 pump replacment

Ive had it for a while stored away and decided to use it again. The cord now has issues. It has an atman 1100 and need the skimmer really soon. If I don't go with the same atman 1100 which pump would be better and drop right in?

I'm wondering if a psk 2500 or psk 1000 would be too strong for it.

I had a similar post for my SWC 160 that takes the POC Atman 2500. No luck! I've gone through five pumps now. One, which I purchased brand new as a backup, knowing that the pumps were a problem, didn't work the first day it went into the skimmer...brand new, but too long since I had purchased it. I just recently put in pump #5, with my eyes open for some other used skimmer that has a reputable pump on it. Otherwise, I like the acrylic on this skimmer, it's just the pump that's a POC.

Sorry I have no clue.
One of the reasons I run a Lifereef as I can put any pump on that one.

Would you be able to adapt different plumbing to make a different pump work? Sorry I'm not too familiar with that skimmer (ie, I never had my hands on one)

The issue with the SWC 120/160 is that the top of the pump needs to fit the threading of the bubble plate and align with the bubble plate, and be the correct height. The intake of the pump needs to align with the hole in the side of the skimmer base and friction fit the venture. It's a custom fit! Here's a picture of the 120 without the pump....that's already been pitched. The bottom of the bubble plate is to the left of the skimmer.

With other words contacting the manufacture for a replacement pump is your best bet.

@Diesel, SWC is more or less dead in the water. I don't know all the details, but the owner is that guy who got convicted of importing corals and rock illegally. There is no company support or new innovation coming out of SWC. Because of that, I wouldn't recommend this skimmer.
