Need Fish… What would Reef Beef Recommend?

Reef beef would recommend a cowfish but they’re a bit too crazy for that tank I think.
I’d suggest fairy wrasse and an angel of the genus Genicanthus like a bellus or swallowtail.

I have a 5x2x2 BB acro dominated tank stocked with:

Scopas Tang
Mimic Tang
Kole Tang
3 Chromis
Foxface
Copperband

I’m not sure of what to add next. Thoughts?
For a few bones become a beefer member and email them your question…I can’t help as it’s really a personal decision but I do get a kick out of those wild and wacky dudes!

I didn’t even think of a Bellus…… that’s a possibility!

- Pair of clowns
- marine beta (never had one but thought they were cool)
- flame angel (your tank is mostly acros so should be fine)
- Bananna Eel (If that’s your style)

I’d be adding a few more wrasses. However to recommend which ones I’d need to know how deep the sandbed is.

The tank is BB, that’s why I haven’t added wrasses yet. I’ve read that some Fairy Wrasses can get by without a sand bed, something to consider.

The marine beta is an intriguing fish. The flame angel is beautiful. I have a torch and hammer that may be too tempting for the flame. I had to get a couple lps to keep the wife happy.

I’ve never heard of a banana eel.

Flame or golden hawkfish
Do they need a sand bed? Very cool fish.

I’d be adding Fairy and Flasher wrasses to the tank. They’ll make a beautiful display and also don’t need sandbeds to hide in, these instead make mucous cocoons to sleep in.
Here’s a small list of the ones I would start out with when looking into them (ranging in price).

Cirrhilabrus lubbocki

Cirrhilabrus exquisitus (Vanuatu Variant)
