NEED HELP!! 48" light?

What is the best 48" light for a bow front with out a hood. Something that will grow and keep coral but without spending a lot of money. Don't need all the bells and whistles. This is for a maintenance account who is cheap. His lights stink and needs an upgrade but he doesn't want to spend a lot of money. His corals are looking bad. Any input would greatly be appreciated.

Aquatic life is super nice. I am running a 48 6x39w on my bow front that is a coral view and love it, Tek light is nice to you could also go with the new maxspec razor led system that will let you do whatever you want and the running cost will be less then t5's and over time it will pay for it self since you do not have to replace bulbs. There are a ton of optons.
