Need help and advice please!

I don't know what's going on but this is about the 4th time I have had one of my euphyllia coral start to deteriorate and die! I will post a picture of the coral and give all peramiters when I get home from work. I was told it was the nopox I am using so I stopped and it continues to happen and it's randow whe it does happen. Ji had an idea last night that it might be when one of my 3 leather corals shed, but is that possible? I have read that it will kill sos but my tanks is mostly euphyllia and a couple of leathers and LPS. Any advise would help! Please!

As far as my stock list I have mostly euphyllias I separate the torches the hammers and frog spawn. I have 3 leathers and 1 Lobo and 1 plate coral

For fish I have
1 flame wrasse
1 Kuiter's leopard wrasse
2 barbonious anthias
1 purple tang

That is one sweet looking tank!

Nitrate is low 5-10ppm should be the goal. Other than that numbers look good. How do they fade. Do they bleach or do you see damage. you looked into a possible pest like a nudi.

No they just start to deteriorate it seems like where the attached to their base that seem to deteriorate first and then the tentacles they deflate and it just starts eating away until the head is gone

Zero nitrates, higher alk and intense lighting could be a combined culprit. I prefer your alk level but I always have between 10-20 ppm nitrates with LPS. Tank looks great. Also, is it happening near the leather corals? I'm not sure if it's chemical warfare or not. Do you see any bite marks on the coral where the flesh meets the skeleton?

Thank you for all the compliments I have 3 and they placed one on the left one in the middle and one on the back right of the tank. So I can't tell if it's chemical warfare but I read that when leather corals shed that it is toxic to other corals. No bite marks at all on the coral. This keeps gapping and I don't know what's wrong so I can't prevent it

Thank you for trying to help I really appreciate it. Here are some older pictures of some corals I have lost I will post a more recent picture when I get home tonight. But it's the same MO every time and everything else looks good. I will also post my lighting schedule when I get home because last time this happend I was told to lower my lights.

I just walked in the door and this is what the torch looks like now I tried to put some super glue on the open skeleton but it's not working the coral continues to degrade

Do you have any leathers in your tank?

Is it just torches that your having an issue with? We've kept many euphyllia species for years but torches always seemed to do what yours is doing. After 3 tries that was it. We had a frogspawn with 25 heads grew from 3 and a torch die within months.

Medium light seemed to work well. With halides and T5 I kept them low in the tank. It's strange for sure. #reefsquad, any other ideas?

Thank you very much for help and trying figure this out with me. It is strange and it seems to happen I don't know where nothing goes wrong with my parameters nothing changes nothing is different so that's why I'm trying to see if I can link it to the Leathers. Or just figure out what it is so I can stop this from happening.

It's interesting for sure. I'm curious to see if it's related to the softies. As frustrating as it is, this hobby keeps us learning.

I'll agree with this and also add that high phosphate with zero nitrate could also be a contribution. soft and LPS corals tend to like a little dirtier water with nitrates around 5ppm. But your phosphate is high at .64 What are your nutrient export methods? Are you running a refugium or any reactors? Do you use ro/di water for your water changes and if so when were the filters last changed?
