Need help ato flooded my tank

Any body have any clues as to why my auqua duetto ato is flooding my tank they seem to get good reviews I'm not sure what's happening I change my filter pad 2 or 3 times a week so I wouldn't think it has given me zero trouble until this week and now it's flooded twice in 3 days

I have had a duetto ATO flood my tank due to a snail making its way over the sensor and hanging out on it triggering it to start pumping....

You know how this story goes..
