Nitrate at 3 ppm is just fine, IMO. PO4 at .09 ppm is perhaps a tad high, but as long as there are no major algae issues I wouldn't sweat it.

I agree, but NO3 fell 2 points in a week and I think it is on the low side of 3. PO4 is .07 up to .09, both good. I am just nervous about NO3 right now and am coming up with a game plan before it bottoms out.Nitrate at 3 ppm is just fine, IMO. My $.02... I don't understand people dosing phosphate while running gfo or macro-algae. Reduce or stop exporting phosphate and you probably won't need to dose it.![]()

I do.
Suppose you want the macroalgae to reduce nitrate and do not want phosphate to bottom out?
Suppose you want the macroalgae to produce O2?
Suppose you want the macroalgae to raise pH?
Suppose you use the macroalgae to feed herbivores?
