Need help connecting ozone to skimmer.

I received these pieces with the Ozotech unit. None of them give the tight fit I expected. The one that sits all the way in seems like the best option.



Also, what is this piece for? Sorry for the weird questions, the unit came with no manual.

I use a silicone tube that will conform tightly to the output on the ozone unit and the input on my skimmer.
