Need help controlling green hair algae and red slime

Ive been having green slime problems, what ive done is cut all thw white out of leds over the voyrse of a week, and i clean the glass with a razor, i then take a toothbrush and scrub any rock surface i can see algae on. I then do a 40% water change. I have done this process for 3 weeks and i am almost ready to start weening the white lights back on. At first i thought it was a phosphate issue but all my levels came out perfect. Thats when i had to get more hands on with it. Tank is almost looking great again!

I got mine from Fragtastic but you can purchase directly from Jeff also.

I've now got a bottle sent from the US, but there's a cheaper source than mine; look through some of the last pages of the Vibrant thread, and you'll see that another UK reefer has posted a link to an E-Bay supplier.

What kind of water do you use? Are you dosing phytoplankton? What are you feeding the corals and fish? How often and how much?

Yes it is. That is what I'm fighting as well. I'm waiting for my Vibrant product to arrive to try it and I will report on my results. What are your phosphates coming in at?

I got it from Underwater Creations. I'm in Canada and couldn't find it anywhere here so Jeff set it out to me. I got it two days ago and dosed it right away and am already seeing results. Green air algae is dying off.
