That’s a tough question there. I have S1 and varios 6 and they both are work horses. I like the Ecotech just a tad better and that is only because it’s a little easier to clean. Other than that absolutely no complaints from either one. So either choice I would say is a great choice!

We just bought the VarioS-8 for our 220 Waterbox. Haven't set it up yet, so I can't give you usage feedback. Sorry.
