Need help dosing

These are my parameters. Been dosing with B-Ionic 20ml sometimes 15ml.

My last test I did which was on Tuesday they looked like this Dkh - 14

Mg- 1400

I forgot what Ca was.

Now are my latest results were I wanna be? If so how do I calculate how much or how often I need to dose?

It's a 46 full stock mix reef.

You are where you want to be, actually a little overshoot on the DkH. I would go to daily testing and dose according to usage.

I only dose half of what BRS recommends because I would rather be safe than sorry and increase my elements too much at one point.

So for your tests, everthing looks good besides Alkalinity being high. First I would like to know what your Nitrate and Phosphates are at. Curious if you run a high nutritional tank or a low nutritional tank. The high alkalinity may be ok but just depends.

Tomorrow I will test again. Just know I didn't add anything today except 5ml of mg cause I thought it was a bit low.

Sounds good. Your Mg is fine. It never hurts to add a little more so don't sweat it.

If you are using B-ionic, it is unlikely you will need to add magnesium, and I personally wouldn't even bother to keep measuring it since you are above NSW levels already.

Focus on alkalinity. Dose enough of both part equal of the B-ionic to keep alkalinity where you want it. Right now you are dosing a bit much so back down.

I'd let the alk drop to about 8 dKH, then we can try to pick a maintenance dose of B-ionic based on how long it took to get to 8 dKH from where you are/were.
