Okay so my buddy is running 3 Hydra 52s on his cycle he is running 40% blue and 8% White green red and violet 10% the lights are about 12 to 15 inches above the tank when I first checked his tank his phosphates were really high .39 and his nitrates were about 40 to 50 I ended up getting his tank all squared up to where he's running now .03 phosphate and 5 nitrate. I'm wondering if his lights were too intense or if they're not strong enough because he was saying that his SPS Coral were bleaching and his acans on the bottom of the tank bare bottom we're also dying off unfortunately we don't have a par meter but his tank is 30 inches tall so you figure from the bottom of the tank he is about probably about 45 inches away from the light the SPS is probably about 25 inches away from the lights. I also had him drop his light cycle from 8 hours to 6 hours to help with recovering of the Coral. Please help.
