Need help for nitrate phosphate

Here is my question

I got a 185 g reef tank
Mix reef
I got as filtration
Octopus 5000sss int skimer
Big bloc of marine pure
And a refugium with cheatos ( 15 g )

My phosphate level is at 0.06 hanna ulr
My nitrate level at 0 salifert

I feed my fish pelet 2 time a day and frozen every night
Every 3 day i feed phyto zoo reefroiids tsrget feed

I want to raise my nitrate
Up to 5-10 ppm coral are pale

What is the best way to do it without impacting my ecosystem

Bare bottom tank

You can mix your own nitrate solution and dose it to your tank. Some people use stump remover you can get from the local hardware store. You can also purchase lab grade Potassium Nitrate from Amazon and mix solution how you want for your tank.

I would dose nitrate, or feed more. Both work fine and lots of folks do one or both.

Thanks i will try to dose nitrate for.now and get more fish after the quarantine is over cause there is no fish in canada at the momment may be more tang more feeding more nitrate

Feeding reef chili and easysps foods have upped my nutrient levels more than I expected in my new setup. I've had to cut back using those to once a week.

Dosing works also. Had to dose on my last tank to keep levels readable. No3 and po4 would bottom out quickly if I stopped dosing.

Get the same reading w/Salifert however I get a reading of between 5-10 w/Red Sea kit. I dunno!
