But it looks like parts of it have fallen off is that normal? Im sorry I am just freaking out cause I dont wanna lose this coral!Looks like a normal shed to me.
On the edges where it kind of looks brownMaybe I'm missing it (most likely)- are the parts that are falling off in the picture? If so, can you direct me to them?
I will definitely keep an eye out for that!Obviously I don't think it has anything to do with what's gong on, but as an unrelated aside, I would just watch it. I had a finger leather that was getting stung by an aiptasia once, so if you notice any scarring in that area, you might want to kalk it.
It definitely looks like it is shedding because of the thin layer of skin coming off but I just don’t understand why there are brown parts on the edges that look like they are falling off, that is what is scaring me the most.Could be shedding.
To the OP, if you ever did go down this road, you might want to do some research about file fish concerning their diet and how reef safe they are with corals first before you make a decision one way or another. They aren't exactly a benign fish to add.Try introducing a Try introducing a file fish if you have aiptasia

is there something picking at it,is devil's hand, normally drop lots of fingers ,they frag themselfIt definitely looks like it is shedding because of the thin layer of skin coming off but I just don’t understand why there are brown parts on the edges that look like they are falling off, that is what is scaring me the most.

It will tend to get worse If you don’t take care of it at a early stageAs above, I noticed the aiptasia as well, that needs to go or it will continue to bother the coral.
