Need help from my friends at R2R

Hello all,

I am a seasoned reef keeper with a ton of success. Recently I’ve had to reboot a system after a crash. The reboot happened in November. Fast forward to now and I’m still having some issues. My corals (3 Gonis, green polyp leather , and Duncan) are all closed up with no polyp extension. I test regularly and got my results from my ICP test a few weeks ago. Nothing was to out of wack phosphate always slightly elevated but I’ve seen beautiful tanks with higher phosphate. I’m just at a loss as to what’s going on. I do weekly water changes and feed every other day. I’m looking for suggestions, tips and solutions to my issues.

Whats your lighting like? Flow? Temp? Salinity?

I know after a while seasoned guys seem to forget about the basic but most important things. Guilty of it myself

Salinity is 1.026, temp sits between 79- 79.7 flow is 2 mp10 dialed no higher than 50%. It’s a drop off tank so one mp10 is on the top left side and the 2nd is bottom right side. Lighting is a eco tech gen xr30 4 running lps AB+ at 25 %

weird, try moving them around thats all i could think of try dipping them in revive

My tank went to crud after I moved it from one tank to another. It is just now stabilizing again. I know that is not great help, and sounds like you have been at this awhile but I just really had to buckle down and be patient. Took almost a year...it was like having a brand new tank all over again.

That’s kinda what I was thinking also. Especially since before the crash I had sand and now the tank is bare bottom. I have another ICP test going in the mail 2moro
