Need help ID these soft tube like thing

Found these tubes extended out from one of my hammer ‘s base stone. I tried to remove it with a tweezer and it retracted, but smashed one and saw some white powder came out of it. They are about 1mm in diameter. Thanks

Look to be some sort of sponge , wouldn't fret over them.

Wait if they retract it's likely a bivaulve
