Need help ID

I just bought this zoa frag and during the acclimation I noticed this Redish purple, hard mushroom looking thing on the bottom of the plug.

if someone could help ID id be grateful.

Hard to tell from the pic. If it's very hard and you can see a tube with an opening, it's a vermetid snail. That's a pest that you don't want in your tank if you can avoid it. I'd just snip off the stem of that plug and throw it away. Alternatively, you can pry it off or chisel it off.
