These are on my glass, they start as a single line worm looking thing then quickly branched into a multi-appendage thing

I’m going to scrape them off the glass and cross my fingers the filter gets them

never seen any full size one
 
Possibly a variety of cryptic sponge. The forked tips are the clue. Here's a type that grows on glass and starts off as worm shaped. You can see the youngest individuals here fit your description.

Yeah, I could not find any photos anywhere of something that has formed tips like that! Thank you

Agreed, the forked tips are unlike any hydroids I've seen. The other possibility is benthic formaniferans. There's a seemingly endless variety in nearly every shape and color immaginable. Many branch in a similar manner. They're often misidentified as sponges, hydroids, etc. Harmless filter feeders.
