Need Help Identify This Massive Snail

I just got a snail from my LFS. She told me the name but i forgot. She said it eats hair algae. Any idea what it is? The skin seems to cover and uncover the shiny shell underneath. It has hair like appendages all over its body and it is very very large!

It looks like an Abalone... I might be wrong though.

That is a Tiger cowry, probably best to watch it around corals as they can cause problems.
