Need help identifying a few things please...

First picture isn't great but it looks like a cotton ball with string coming out the center hole.

Second picture white spots all over the tank glass are these something to worry about?

First looks like a sponge. Second look like hydroids. Common in a new tank, and they will go away. Both are fine!

The first is a pineapple sponge and harmless. They appear in some new tanks and generally go away, unfortunately.

The second are hydroids I believe and I've never had to deal with them. So I'm unsure if they are bad.

Yep. Look like pineapple sponge, which you will always have some.

And jelly hydroids. Like Katrina said. They will phase out.

We had a bunch in our first tank. They did go away quickly. @saltyfilmfolks assured me. He was right
