Definatively not reef safe I would recommend putting him in thr new sump and giving him a bigger shell too
Oh my!! I will tell my husband to move it .I'm not sure about the specific species of hermit, but I am 99% sure it's carnivorous/not reef safe. If it's out of its shell, it probably needs a bigger shell-- which you will need to give it.
I would not suggest keeping this in your display tank. Banish him to the sump if you want to keep him.
He can be fed just about any meaty food.
