Hey everyone, I'm new to the reefing game, I came across a free 55g setup but im not sure of which species of corals and anemones I have. I'm thinking the little green things are zoas, maybe a type of mushroom? I also have something that looks possibly like a bubble anemone in the 2nd and 3rd pic. Theres 2 pinkish anemones. one anemone with brown tentacles, and 1 really small white/pinkish one maybe 1" in the 6th picture. Also in the 5th pic I have a few of those all over, theyre slightly green and look like they're carpeting the rock, the biggest one is around 2". I think theres some toadstools as well. I hope the description and pictures help, Thank you in advance!

1- possibly a Kenya tree
2,3- bubble coral (plerogyra sinuosa)
4- toadstool
5- rhodactis mussoides
6- hammer coral
7- bubble tip anemone
8- rhodactis sp.
9-bubble tip anemone
Would #9 be a discosoma?

Spot on again mate only thing I would add as you new to reefing is your flat worm problem, probably worth doing a new thread on it.

FYI - The hammer isn’t looking too healthy. Especially since all the other crowns are dead. It may not make it. May want to keep an eye on it and take appropriate action if you see it degrade further.

Agree on discomma #8 and #5 is hairy mushroom

this tank you got it has t5s on it right ?????? Like these pics were taken under t5s ?

Ok cool I was gonna say either your lights are old "if t5s" or yeah your spectrum is way off , that tank is gonna color up like whoa !!! nice score , that green bubble you got is FIRE , and the other coral is also very nice . !!!

So from the entire hammer skeleton there are only 2 really small polyps left, maybe it was polyp bail out from previous water parameters or something? But since there is only 2 left on the entire thing would I be able to cut them off into frags and discard the rest of the skeleton, or what should I do?

Heres a better pic of the hammer, I'm also fighting an algae problem it definitely wasnt in the best shape when I got it, but I got an rodi filter and a mixing station set up and I just did a large water change yesterday, slowly but surely the whole tank is getting better

It looks quite bleached from this pic. Can you take a pic with more blues? I wouldn’t cut it at this moment because you may stress it more.
