Need help identifying disease. white patch on Clown Fish?

Hey everyone so today while feeding my fish I noticed my male clown has two white patches near his head and I need help identifying what it is. I don’t think it’s ich since there’s no specs on him and I’ve never seen anything that looks like it. He’s Tank mates are another clown, clean up crew, and a blue/green chromis. There are no corals Or anemone in the tank.

Welcome! Need some details about clown and tank. How old is it? How was it cycled? How long have you had the clowns? Were they qted or direct from breeder? How is his behavior? Scratching, eating, breathing heavily, etc.

Lol my phone camera is broken and that’s pretty possible he tends to host rocks at night so I’m hoping that’s what it is I just wanted to know other possibilities

The tank was cycled for 6 weeks with bacteria in a bottle plus some mysis shrimp added every few days. The clowns were added three weeks ago they were rescues from a buddy he quit the hobby and they were living in pretty awful conditions. I kept them in a five gallon for about 10 days and they showed no signs of illness. Then I added them to the 28 display along with a chromis who came from my LFS Owner he gave me him as a gift lol. he quarantined the chromis in the back of the store and I monitored him for 3 weeks. As far as behavior they are pretty normal as far as clownfish go they both like to host the return nozzles at night and during the day they like to stay front and center. The male with the spots was eating like normal today and didn’t show anything too odd however the female was definitely picking on him more today.

Is there any way to help prevent infection maybe some immune boosters like garlic?

Im seeing white film/slime which points to brooklynella (common clown disease), which at this stage is treatable.
if you can catch it, start with freshwater dip. This stuff can cover and take over a clown overnight.
using a product like general cure, create a formalin solution mixed with fresh or saltwater in a separate treatment container. Give the fish a quick dip in the formalin at a higher concentration, followed by regular treatment in a lower concentration formalin bath within in a quarantine tank (QT) for about 5 days. Assure the fish is getting oxygen and do not run carbon during treatment.
