Need help identifying fish disease

Quick summary:
- Newly cycled tank
- Added 7 cardinalfish and 4 clownfish
- First cardfinalfish died on 1/8
- Second cardfinalfish died on 1/13
- First clownfish died on 1/16

They all exhibited the same issue: they would stay at the bottom of the tank and not really move around or eat. Eventually they died within 1-2 days.

I'd like to treat the other fish in a QT tank but not sure yet whether it is Brook or Marine Velvet or something else. Any diagnose would be extremely helpful!

Can’t open video but brook- fish will have loss of appetite, rapid breathing, lethargic behavior, loss of color from excess mucus and spots that look like ich
Velvet- fish swim at surface or in front of power head flow, scratching , rapid breathing and powdery texture to body

The breathing rate would indicate velvet - best treatment will be copper in qt, but once fish loss starts its hard to stop it in time.

I was able to open video- Fish is breathing very rapidly. Other than seeing other clown annoying it- nothing stands out , which may be elevated readings such as ammonia and nitrate, even salinity especially if tank is new

I have been testing ammonia and nitrite every day and they are both reading zero.

My salinity right now is at 35ppm. It has generally been constant ever since I cycled the tank. Is that too high?

The nitrate levels have been around 17-18 for the past two weeks. I did a water change yesterday and will test again today. Is that too high?

No not high as 10-15 is often a good range

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

It gets confuing to run two posts on the same topic, but I would say this is definitely a gill disease, probably Amyloodinium/velvet.
