I noticed these jelly-like caterpillar shapes in my local lfs. This is the first time I have seen them in my home Aquarium. I'm hoping someone here has seen these before and can identify them for me.

I've no idea, but interested to find out. My best guess, assuming they don't move, is some type of sponge.
 
It's actually stationary on the rock. So I'm guessing it's some type of sponge like KJ has mentioned. It matches many photos of found on tunicates. I looked up the fireworm and that's definitely not it, thanks for the help though.

Interesting! Can you share some of those other pics that match?

almost looks like something laid some eggs. I'm going to follow to see what it turns out to be
 
looks like snail eggs to me too. I have some on my back glass, I'll try to get pics for you tomorrow.
 
Yes, it is a tunicate.
