Hey everyone, over the last couple of days I've noticed this stuff growing on my rock and sand and some spots on the glass. It's been popping up decently fast the last couple of days. I did a 50% water change on Saturday and the tank is a little over a month old. I have 2 corals and 2 green chromies. A 406 fluval canister filter, 100 hob skimmer, 2 current circulation pumps, a uv sterilizer filter. If someone could help me identify that would be great, thank you.

Its a new tank. You added lights, water, food. Stuff will start to grow. Take pictures of the nice white rock as it will never be this white again. You get diatoms and different algae over the first few months. Brown, green and red. As said above this looks like diatoms.

Thank you for the reply, so this is normal to have or should I be doing something different?

Totally normal.
If nothing grew, then I would worry
