Need help identifying spot on Melanurus Wrasse

Have my melanurus wrasse in an observation tank with a couple other wrasse. He's eating like a pig and has gone through 2 rounds of prazi with no problem (last dose was 3 days ago). I just noticed that he's developed this spot on his side, but I'm not sure what it is.

That's kind of what I was thinking, maybe he scraped himself on a rock or something. The only others in there are a little canarytop wrasse, a pintail and a carpenter wrasse. They all seem to get along really well. I added them all together about 3 weeks ago. I've seen no signs of aggression from anyone. There are a few snails and a couple small hermits in there as well. Its my old 75 gal that I just took apart to upgrade to a 200, but I kept the 75 up and running to use as an observation tank.

Does the skin appear broken or does it look more like raised scales, or a fungus?

Definitely could be injury. Even fish that get along with each other will attack when no one is looking!

It definitely doesn't look like an open would to me. It looks more raised.

If it's raised scales, I would continue to observe closely for any changes over the next day or two. They will likely self correct. If it develops into an open wound or appears to fester, you will need to treat with an antibiotic.

ok, I will keep an eye on him. It doesn't seem to be bothering him at the moment. I haven't observed any unusual behavior or itching. I do have metro and focus on hand, as well as kanaplex and Reef rally.
