Hey, so when I got off work last night all of my coral was looking bad. My two frog spawns were barley open, one of them had shriveled black tentacles. My large hammer was completely closed and my torch was much thinner than normal. I’ve moved them to a separate 30 gallon tank but it’s only been running 5 weeks and only a week with fish. I need to identify the issue before they get hurt in that tank. I have had some green and brown algae popping up over the last week. I dosed the tank with purple helix and have been using purple up every day. I also realized my auto pump had been over dosing ati essentials so I turned it off. Last weekend I checked nitrate at a 7, carbonate hardness at 11 degrees (I think that’s alkalinity right?) and ph around 7.5. The week before I had nitrate 5, and ph at 8.3 when I did the purple helix. I’m very attached to my coral, if anyone could give me some tips on how to correct my issue I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Purple up every day? Thats got to be skyrocketing your calcium. Alk is high at 11, but not high enough to kill those corals. Likely your changes in parameters have caused them to contract a bacterial infection, euphyllia are prone to this.

The bottle said no more than once a day. Should I cut it to twice a week? Also what are the steps to treat a bacterial infection? Thank you for the quick advice, it’s been stressing me out all day

New test results. The tank I put the coral in had 100 nitrate so I’m going to do a revive dip and try to get them back in my big tank. Would the high calcium cause the soft tissue to shrivel and blacken?
Nitrate 10.6
Ph 8.3
Phosphates 0.25
Alk 12
Calcium 500
