Can someone help identify this red algae and how I can get rid of it? It's all over the glass and takes a razor to remove it. Thank you

Thanks
Any recommendations on how to get rid of it?
How old is your tank? If it is a newer setup then I would recommend waiting it out and it will probably go away on its own. If it persists you will want to take a close look on your nitrates and phosphates and prevent any major swings and not have 0 of either. If all fails use chemiclean but that should be your last option.

Am I the only one that sees coraline algae?
Cyano would not need a razor to remove...
Tank has been running for over 20 years. FOWLR. Definitely need a razor to remove. Regular magnetic scraper with pad does nothing. Use razor with every monthly water change. Thanks

Looks like cyano but I don't think it is as you're describing it's toughness.
