My nem definitely doesn't look like that, I was thinking maybe it's a Beadlet anemone. Also it's never split. If it is a BTA, could poor lighting have stunted the growth.![]()
Here is one of mine that is now 2 since i took this the other day. In 3-4 years i think i have 5 from the original i purchased as rainbow bubble tip, but i can't tell if its a rainbow or rose honestly. But this is what a bta looks like
The clowns dont go near it, also would 2 t5 12in. from the tank be considered overly powerful. Its going to go and stay where it likes the flow and lighting, its not something that you can glue in place unfortunatly. However if you feed it occasionally, some mysis or some thawed out frozen foods but only small pieces as i used to try and feed mine silver sides but i noticed that larger pieces they would end up spitting out. It also helps to feed earlier in the day at least with mine because they also tend to spit food out when the lights go out. It would probably end up growing a little faster maybe more so if your lights are not overly powerful. Gives it an extra boost of energy. If you have clowns that host it you typically do not have to do this as they will feed it for you.
What would cause it to stuntIt's a Frankenstein Mojano!!!
In all seriousness it looks like a stunted bubble tip but following along to see!

It seems to move a inch or two every few days but never leaving the right side of the tank.Yeah like merkey said could be parameters, if its always moving then its not finding a spot it likes. If the clowns are not hosting it could just be it needs a little supplemental feeding 1 or maybe 2 times a week or so. mine basically haven't moved from their rock in years, when they split they give each other space and that's it
