Hi everyone, I've been looking around for a while on this but haven't been able to find anything today looks like it. The closes thing i found was white film algae but what is in my track doesn't really grow like it. I will try to explain the a little, sorry if something I say doesn't make sense, I am new to the hobby.

A few weeks ago my tank finished cycling. After cycling was done I added a little more ammonia just to verify how quick the bacteria would take care of the levels. Then i follow this by testing the water everyday for a couple of weeks. Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, were always 0. The pH was the only level fluctuating between 8 and 7.8. I also kept doing maintenance on it every weekend, topping it, water changes every 2 weeks and made sure everything look clean, which i did.

After seeing that the levels were holding steady, I added two juvenile clownfish. I continued the water testing and maintenance like I have been doing. Seth the difference of turning on the lights, and using a small breeding box as a diy refugium with some Ulva. Two weeks in, and everything seem fine, all levels checked out Noticed a slight drop on pH so I tried doing 25 to 30% water changes. This was able to get the pH back to 7.8. I decided to dose the tank with seachem marine buffer. I dosed the tank everyday and monitored the levels, everything seemed ok.

I stopped dosing the tank, I kept doing regular maintenance, and monitoring the levels, and then one morning. I noticed something different in the tank. I had diatoms, a bit of green algae by one of the rocks, something pinkish that I'm not sure what it is, and then theres something white on the walls (inside) that doesn't want to come off with a scrapper nor cleaning sponge. I also noticed they my nitrites are now fluctuating between 0 and .25ppm.

For the diatoms, i turned off the lights.
The green algae has been removed
The pink stuff, I'm not sure what it is
The white stuff, I have even less of an idea.

I'd appreciate any help with this.
