Need help identifying

Does anyone know what this growth on the underside of my live rock is? It started out looking kind of like a fantail worm and continues to bulk up. Thanks in advance!

I would say, possible sponge. I have many different kinds in my tank

my bets on tunicates because of the spiky all over look. They showed up in mine about a year or so in. Either way, theyre beneficial-diversity and all that jazz lol
