Annularis has been in prazi for 6 days. Before treatment started was flashing, twitching and rubbing on pvc at the gill area, about 2 days in all that stop and was looking lots better. Also had what seemed to be tiny parasitic looking worms all over, they have completely disappeared did a 25% water change today and noticed the lateral line looks raised or defined and some white spots from the nose to the gills and seems to run with the lateral line. Was wondering should I dose prazi again or go ahead and start copper treatment?

Here are some pics

Prazi needs to be dosed Twice 5-7 days apart to wipe out any newly hatched eggs.

Spots may just be HLLE.

Do you add vitamins to food? Like selcon, vitachem, or zoecon? Zoecon is the best for treating HLLE.

I would do a 25% WC dose prazi again. Wait 24 hours. Do a large WC and start copper.

Thanks for the info, not saying it's not HLLE just dont look like any other photos I've seen, but may be in the beginning stage

Started 2nd round of prazi yesterday, came home today and has broken out with white spots all over. I am assuming it is ich so I started cupramine treatment today. Hope this is correct, lot of money down the drain if not

Can you post an updated pic? Spots all over must be ich/velvet from the sounds of it.

That is velvet. Possibly some ich as well.

I figured velvet when you said covered in white spots.

Definitely continue cupramine treatment (making sure you maintain the therapuetic level within 48hrs). Also if you want to be proactive, you can do a 5 min FW dip and also a 90 minute bath in acriflavine (Ruby Reef Rally). This will provide temporary relief by removing parasites and then antiseptic bath to help prevent secondary infection from entrance wounds.

Just one dip now. It will provide temporary relief as you increase copper level.

Also my apologies for the HLLE misdiagnosis based on your original pics.

Update: Did freshwater dip and also put them in Rally for 80 min and back into HT with copper reaching therapeutic level last night, checked on them this morning doing ok but ammonia is starting to creep up. Thought I would lose them (still might) over night since I had dosed Prime right before I started the copper. I have 2 filter blocks in HOB filter that where in my DT sump for over 2 months, just don't seem to be able to keep up, Ammonia is going to a big problem as this is the 1st day of 29 to go. Would love any suggestions to combat the Ammonia

Get a bottle of Biospiria. So long as you get a good bottle, it will take care of it even in presence of copper.

Update: Poured a bottle of Biospiria in this past Sat night no change in Ammonia yet. Date on bottle was good should I add another bottle? Fish seem to be doing ok, at this point

Do you have a HOB filter and some sponge media for bacteria to colonize?

Some bottles dont work well assumedly due to excessive heat or cold, another from a different batch may help.

Fritz turbo start is another great product.
