Uhhh... Looking forward to learning something, New one for me and I am kinda old. Is this what lettuce looks like?

Possibly extremely unhealthy ulva. I’m really not sure though, that looks weird for sure.

Best way I could describe it is that it looks like jelly. Blows off the rock fairly easy with a turkey blaster.

It's always a yellow/brownish color. never green like the pics I seen for Ulva.

I actually bought this algae before, never got to go around to id it, but it doesn’t root to rocks. Manual removal should be easy. Your LPS seem a bit unhappy though are they always closed?
