I moved my Yellow Feather Duster recently and noticed some "things" under the rock containing the duster. They appear to be a grouping of eggs of some sort. The rock has been in my tank for almost two months. If anyone has any idea what it is I would be quite appreciative.

Let see if we can find out together, [HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG] anyone one have a idea what they might be?

I am guessing theses are a type of sponge. They look similar to a white tubular variety I have growing underneath a frag rack.

Sponge... I like that. Because my original thought was how they resembled larvae from terrestrial bugs that are laid and forgotten. But I don't know what kind of bugs do that in saltwater fish tanks.

If they're not sponges, Tunicates is another possibility.

Now I feel a bit silly since I had previously allows lumped tunicates in with sponges. Though I think in the deep recesses of my mind I knew they were different.

Again, though, an acceptable organism to have in my tank.
