Need help IDing

[Exotic Aquaria]

I got this decorator crab last Monday and it came with the white blob attached. Any ideas as to what the blob could be?

I second the sponge. They come in all sorts of bizarre forms. I have one on a Ricordia frag that looks like a giant leech. Creepy, but harmless.
