Well I have had my JBJ 28 up and running since 4/1/2018. Went thru cycle and uglies and added two clowns 6/15/18, added 5 corals on 7/14 ( toad stool, green star polp, two mushrooms and a xenia. All has been well with everything still alive, and I believe thriving. I do a four gallon water change every 7 to 10 days. On 11/13 I had a shipment of 10 zoa frags and 5 soft corals delivered and place in the tank. As of today 12/6 everything is open and looking good.

I was thinking I should hold off on any more coral and get everything I have growing and expanding in the tank. I would like to add a couple more fish but not sure what that might be. Curious if I should add additional circulation to tank, what might I expect in the next couple of months so I will be better prepared. Do I need to feed the corals, if so recommendations, I have standard API test kit should I be doing any additional testing.

I hope this gives you an idea of what I looking for in the way of suggestions or advice. If I am successful over the next 12 months my wife would be open to upgrading the tank.

What he said.

You could start a picture log of the corals so you can chart their growth.

Take it slow like others have suggested. I would definitely add a flow pump of some sort. Anytime you add fish your risking the ones you already have unless you quarantine them properly. Small gobies and blenny’s are great for a nano tank.
