Hey everyone need some sump install help and this is always the best way to get a million great ideas instantly. I will attactch pics of my setup as it is now. I want to install an Aqueon 2200, upgrading from a DIY 40 breeder sump that's just not cutting it. I also installed a Vectra S-1 (stupidly) and am going to be upgrading the return pump. The in-flow going totank is through 3/4" PVC through two separate bulkheads going into the tank. The outflow is 1" in diameter. The new pump is 12000/L hr. I wanted to use flexible tubing for a couple of reasons-space and tidiness. It also seems by eliminating sharp corners, you increase your max flow.
Does anyone have this type of tubing installed and if so, does it work as im planning? Whaat about silicone tubing? Anybody else give me your opinions on what you think the best way to go about this switchover.
Other Misc equipment I have AI Hydra 52 (x3), Apex Classic and Apex EL, Ecotech MP40 (x2), QP-16 Aquapump Controller, Reef Octopus Skimmer and a 5 Channel doser.(jebao). Im trying to get my display back to its beatified state by addin
