Need help keeping ALK rock steady.

I give up! Decided I'm going to start dosing two part. What is a good way to dose? If I needed to dose
250ml a day, would I divide that by 24 or 12? and should I only dose when lights are on 12 times 48ml per? My son pointed out, that if I dose over the 24hr period then I could have a spike at night because there is no uptake? What strategy do you use?

I hope the first post in this thread might help answer your question. I have found that the alkalinity demand lags behind photoperiod by about two hours. So, dose from two hours after "lights on" until two hours after "lights out". Your son appears to be correct.
